Meet Jude

Hello! I love people. I love stories. I love gatherings. I love bringing people together. I love rites of passage and ritual. 

It's an honour to co-create human specific ceremony with and for people. Be that welcoming your child or children to the world with a baby naming ceremony, co-creating your dream wedding day or honouring the life of a loved one. 

My work beyond celebrancy is essentially creative collaboration: I make theatre. I organise events. I sing in intimate and expansive spaces. I act in theatre, film and television. I am a mother. I am a celebrant.

Jude, you were and were always going to be instrumental. I think you set a tone, an atmosphere and permission for everyone to relax from the outset, and those ripples were felt right through the day . . . [and night].

The wonderful Judith conducted my friend’s wedding and she was the most fabulous celebrant I have ever seen! I have organised many weddings at River Cottage down in Devon and never before have I seen a singing celebrant. She has a delicious voice and produced their ceremony with such warmth; it was just perfect.​
