Meet Lissa
As a celebrant I offer to guide you and your circle through the strange, disorienting and deeply human experience of grief, as we share these stories and craft the best goodbyes we can. Whether that’s a quiet and traditional service of remembrance, or a bright, bold and unapologetically loud celebration of life, I would love to work with you to create a ceremony as unique as the life lived.
About Lissa
As a human being I am drawn to our personal stories, to the strands that weave and wend to create a life. My own story involves twenty years working in theatre and community arts before moving into the formal education sector in 2020. My love of words, music and the need for shared experience led me to train as a humanist celebrant with the wonderful charity, A Quiet Revolution. Their commitment to celebrating life and holding space for those tender thresholds of birth, death and union speak deeply to my own belief in what it is to be human and our vital need to connect.
